Getting started
Introduction
Vectis is a macOS checkout automation tool. This guide gets you from install to first placed order in under ten minutes.
Before you begin, make sure you have: a valid license key, macOS 13 or newer, at least one residential proxy, and at least one account with a funded payment method.
Install
Download the latest .dmg from your dashboard. Drag Vectis into Applications. On first launch, approve the security prompt in System Settings → Privacy & Security.
# Verify install $ /Applications/Vectis.app/Contents/MacOS/Vectis --version vectis 1.0.3 (universal · macOS 14.4)
Sign in with the email associated with your purchase. A magic link arrives within 30 seconds.
Your first task
Open the Tasks pane. Click New task. Pick a retailer (Target is the only live option today). Paste a product URL or SKU. Attach a profile and a proxy. Click Start.
When the item comes in stock, Vectis carts, checks out, and posts a receipt to your Discord webhook. Typical end-to-end latency on Target: sub-10 seconds.
Profiles
A profile is a shipping + billing identity. Profiles are independent of accounts — you can attach any profile to any account at task-create time.
Proxies
Vectis sticks one proxy to one account for the lifetime of a session. Rotating proxies mid-checkout will trip PX and flag the account. Use residential or ISP proxies in the same region as the account billing address.
Accounts
Each account gets its own cookie jar. Vectis keeps sessions warm between drops, so a cold-start is rarely required. Accounts flagged by the retailer are marked in red in the Accounts pane and auto-excluded from new tasks.
Discord webhooks
Open Settings → Webhooks. Paste your Discord webhook URL. Select which events to broadcast: carted, placed, shipped, declined.
Troubleshooting
If a task sits at monitor for more than 90 seconds after stock is confirmed, rotate the proxy and re-run. If every task fails at checking_out, the retailer has likely rolled a new PX version — Vectis ships a hotfix within 2 hours, delivered via auto-update.
